Love their protein bars & scones. A true throw back bakery you just can't find anymore. They are closed on Sunday & Monday.
This G.H.B.C. is one of the better ones I've been...scones, breads and other items made in house are for the most very delicious and fresh, but their service at times is sub par at best! The server up front has no knowledge of what items are fresh today, or for that matter ingredients used when asked! Side note....no customer wants to hear bakers arguing please take that behind closed doors! The scones are some of the best I've had(especially their cinnamon chip and cranberry and chocolate, erm you get the gest here). They also offer quite a few locally made jams, spreads and yummy treats that works well with the breads they make, kinda like a one stop shop for breads and any accoutrements needed!
Terrific product, helpful staff. Prices a bit high, but the value is there. Buried in a strip mall, so you must look for it, but it's worth the bother.
You can call ahead & place orders for special occasions & in summer, they bring a great variety of their goods to the Rochester farmer's market.

The salted caramel cookies are amazing. They are huge and the taste fantastic. Even 4 days later they are still soft and fresh, not hard nasty and crunchy. They are worth the drive from Rochester to 22 and Hayes. Love this place.
