Love Barnes and Noble. This particular location has a different layout than others as it has their café in the center of the building, instead of on a wall. Also it is on a raised dias for whatever reason. Still great selection of reading material to choose from.
Staff is less than helpful and very rude. While asking About particular books they were trying to rush through helping me. It turned out the books I wanted are out of print however you can order them as an e book for their particular brand. When I expressed that the person I was buying for did not have their product I was basically dismissed and told I should buy my friend that for Christmas instead because no one reads real books anymore...
Most every Barnes & Noble offers a great experience. This location is no exception. Came in to have the troubleshoot my Nook GlowLight Plus. Jennifer was very knowledgeable and fixed the issue right away. Customer service is wonderful. Decided today to sit and have a mocha at the cafe. The girls working there are fantastic. Even used a coupon on my coffee for over $1 off. It's quiet here too, like a bookstore should be. Subdued conversations and no phones going off or people on them that I've noticed. Highly recommend this location.
The book I was looking for is 39.99 in-store. On the company website the same book is 24.98. I was told, extremely rudely, they do not match their own company's online price. Garbage like this is the reason their stores are closing. I look forward to seeing more of their stores fail in the future if this is the kind of BS they pull. I'm happy to take my money elsewhere. They would have still made money from me if they matched the price. Now they will receive nothing.
Lines were long but moving fast. Everyone was very pleasant. I would highly recommend this store to anyone.
