They expect to get free power from the neighbors to get the job done. This company does rough electrical installation for home builders in new subdivisions. They expect to plug in off of existing homeowners' houses for power instead of bringing their own generators. Are they that cheap? I find this HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL. When they worker asked me to plug in and I said no, he was surprised, and scrambled to get a generator to the site having to borrow one from the builder. Then he used the generator for a 10 hour day, so he wanted to use my power for 10 hours. What sort of company does this? This leads me to believe that it is common practice for Uptown Electric to just wait for homeowners to leave for work and then use their power without permission when doing rough electrical jobs. Very shady in my opinion.
